Loading web pages on internet is a delicate operation it is like a water system loading through tubes of different widths. You may have the same five gallons to empty but doing it through a tube a half an inch wide is not the same as having one an inch wide. Logical, right? The inch wide tube will carry much more water. Dial up connections are the half inch tube, they are slow and carry less water per second. Only option is to optimize the size of the images then you have less volume to carry. Right!
