The world wide web has now evolve into a community which requires interaction and manageability of various applications. The web 2.0 has called forth new applications to be able to handle such demands. The first one id the Adobe Flash player which was once a plug-in but now is used by the leading industries. A new web application plug-in which will handle the same applications as the Adobe flash player or even better is now developed by Microsoft. The name of this plug-in is the Silverlight which will be competing with Adobe Flash Player and other related technologies. More information about this can be read here.
