This website is a student run company that is designing affordable websites and provides affordable SEO services to small business owners to provide more hits, more sales, more customers, and relief to the small business owners web interface worries. We have a team of five members with significant experience in computer programing, design, and sale/marketing. We believe that we can provide the best value based service on the market today for small companies.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
We began with a class at the University of Washington to develop our knowledge of creating and developing a company, and thus far we have been wildly successful and continue to remain a strong core of dedicated individuals to providing the best possible value service for SEO and website design.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
We launched our first site on February 11th and have seen rankings scores steadily progress ever since.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
We come up with the name webovations because we sought to be an incredibly innovative service provider for those on a tight budget in this difficult economy that still required some basic web interface.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
We differentiate ourselves by our level of commitment to customer service and our dedication to making this as easy and seamless process as possible while still creating a significant value added, even to those on a small budget.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
We want to keep this site for ourselves and hopefully have other college students fill our spots as we graduate to create a supplemental income to support our education, and at the same time help small business's enter the world wide web.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Absolutely, we have already seen significant success, which we are confident that we can continue to build on as we get more clients and have a large portfolio of work to display.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
We wouldn't. We are not targeting individuals with hundreds of thousands of dollars, we are here to help those who need a basic site that will be used primarily as a reference tool for interested consumers and in the spirit of this we have purposely chosen to have a modest site. It is not about the gimmickry, its about the content and what we have to say and what we do is meaningful and speaks for itself.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes of course. There are an incredible number of talented individuals living and working within a University Community, many of whom in this tough economic environment need some source of supplemental income to maintain their status as a student. We are very fortunate that the University of Washington has such a quality and large computer science department, and we could tap on the shoulder of litterally hundreds of individuals to help us with our project.
